receives a $5,000 grant from the Dart
Foundation.  Pictured from left to right are

Adger plans to use this grant money to purchase
laptops for students in STEM research.

Our Sego Concert Choir under the direction of Mr. Steve Cheek has some great news. They participated in the Large Group Performance Evaluation on March 27th at Cross Creek High School and came away with EXCELLENT scores in Sight-singing and in Performance.  Mr. Cheek is pictured here with the choir at a previous school performance.

Congratulations to Ms. Lokey and our Sego Orchestra students. Both middle school Honor Orchestras recently received excellent/superior ratings on their performances at the Large Group Performance Evaluation.

Congratulations to Iyana Emerson who won 3rd place in the district Science Fair for Middle Schools for her 7th grade project.  Devon Riddick's project gained an Honorable Mention.  We are proud of you both!

Dear Parents/Guardians:

I am so proud to be the principal of Sego Middle School.  We have had an awesome start! It is our goal to make this year as enjoyable and academically productive for all students as possible. Our focus this year is to improve our scores in Math, Science, and Social Studies while maintaining our achievements in English Language Arts and Reading. Our faculty and staff will do everything to help our students be successful. We invite all parents, guardians, and community stakeholders to support us in this effort.
